Why ADPi?

Below are a few of the reasons our sisters chose to be a part of the Eta chapter of Alpha Delta Pi!

Where to start? ADPi, you’ve given me more than a lifetime's worth of blessings! When I walked in during philanthropy round as an out-of-state student clueless about rush, I IMMEDIATELY felt at home at ADPi. Flash forward two years and I still find out new things about my sisters each day and get to live in the beautiful place I ran home to! Serving on our executive board and being surrounded by such outstanding women I get to call my sisters is such a beautiful experience words could never describe! I am so thankful each and every day for this sisterhood and never doubt this is exactly where I was meant to be!

ADPi was the first house I visited during the initial round of rush for the day. I was nervous about finding a group of girls I truly clicked with, but the moment I walked into ADPi, I felt calm and connected with every girl I talked to that day. Throughout rush week, there was a sense of reassurance and excitement every time I returned to the house. Running home to ADPi on bid day was so special to me because I ran home to a group of girls I already felt like I was best friends with from rush week. My first semester was more fun than I could've imagined, thanks to the amazing friendships I formed in ADPi. Next year, I'll be living in a house with four of my sisters, and I can't wait to see what that semester holds in store!

When I ran home on Bid Day, it was one of the most exciting days of my life. But, I could have never imagined how much I would have grown to love ADPi and all of my amazing sisters. I have met the best friends here that have truly become my family and I am forever grateful. At Adpi we sincerely do live for each other, and finding that sense of belonging, friendship, and support is my #whyadpi.

When moving across the country for college I really wanted to find a group of girls and a place that made Alabama feel like my home away from home. When I walked into each round at ADPi I felt extremely welcomed and everyone seemed so happy to be a part of ADPi. I could not be more happy with my choice to join this sisterhood!

Walking into the doors of ADPi on philanthropy, you could tell how much everyone here cared about each other. On sisterhood and pref I talked to girls who made me feel like I could see myself as an ADPi. Looking at ADPi from the outside, it is a group of girls who love, care, respect, and support each other in every aspect of their lives and I knew that was something so special I wanted to be a part of. My sister was an ADPi and I saw how much love she had for her chapter and I knew I wanted to have that same love for this chapter. Running home to ADPi will be one of my favorite memories and I am so excited I chose it as my home for the next four years and as my sisterhood for the rest of my life!

Going into recruitment I was super nervous, but the moment I walked through the doors of ADPi, I immediately felt so loved, valued, and welcomed. Every girl I talked to was genuine and truly cared to get to know me on a personal level. I knew these girls were going to be able to support me through any & everything. Coming from out of state it was so important to me to find a group of supportive and caring girls that I could call my home away from home, which I immediately found at ADPi. I could not be happier to be a part of such a great sisterhood at ADPi!
